Deputy Director

We are currently recruiting a Deputy Director for a Tarp Production Company in HCMC, Vietnam. Reporting to the CEO, the position requires managerial capability in procurement, sales and general management. 

Based in District 3, HCMC

Responsibilities:

• Work as the chief operating officer of the organization, with responsibility for all aspects of the day-to-day operations
• Work with the Board of Directors to develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives
• Oversee the development and implementation of policies and procedures
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
• Manage the budget and financial affairs of the organization
• Develop and oversee procurement strategies
• Travel to find new clients and procurement, mainly China, Hong Kong and Taiwan
• Supervise staff and manage human resources
• Serve as the primary spokesperson for the organization
• Build and maintain relationships with key partners and stakeholders
• Analyze market research for potential demand aggregation - supplier consolidation, contract renegotiation, price reductions or cost avoidance.
• Oversee resolution of disputes, deficiencies, and warranty claims.
• Coordinate the physical movement of export and import shipments and the determination and preparation of all legally required documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Board of Directors
• Contributing to the attainment of sales targets/strategies and market penetration in line with regional growth
• Structure and lead teams to deliver outstanding client work.
• Develop thought leadership around specific topics/emerging practice areas.
