Assistant Service Manager

Assisting Restaurant Operations

• Manage a globally famous Japanese noodle restaurant.
• Responsible for the service team and running the service operation standard.
• Train and motivate the Service team, create and implement the manual, and communicate closely with the restaurant manager.
• Maximize the operating profit of the restaurant by optimizing sales and customer satisfaction.
• Maximize the operating profit of the restaurant, especially drink cost, stock management, avoiding wastage, damaged goods, and canceled drinks.

 Training

• Train leaders of each department and maximize the performance of each team.
• Have close communication with leaders and make sure that the progress of each department’s training is on track.
• Fully understand the training protocols and systems, and suggest ideas to improve them if any;

Assisting in Cost Management

• Be always aware of the labor, food, and other costs of the restaurant and make sure that the total cost is lower than the target;
• Come up with ideas and implement them to meet the total target cost.
• Manage the daily sales and input all the necessary numbers on a pre-determined sheet;
• Analyze the sales and come up with ideas to increase sales, and then implement those ideas into daily restaurant operations.

Other Tasks

• Have close communication with the Restaurant Manager, operation supervisors, leaders, and office teams to improve the performance of the restaurant.
• Consult with staff and support creating the Great Place to Work.
• Update the immediate Restaurant Manager about the long-term, mid-term, and short-term goal achievement progress promptly;
• On behalf of the Restaurant Manager & Acting Restaurant Manager, when he/she is not available in the restaurant.
