Job Description for Bar Back

We are carrying out recruitment for the role of bar back in the hospitality jobs sector. You will assist with the smooth running of the bar. Your roles include taking and replenishing stock. You will also be in charge of keeping the bar clean and washing glasses and dishes. The bartender may assign additional tasks on an ad hoc basis.

• Keeping the bar area clean
• Ensuring clean supplies of glasses, towels, dishes
• Taking stock and garnishing supplies as necessary
• Assisting the bartender as and when required.

• Knowledge of bar service and drinks
• Physical fitness due to heavy lifting required when stocking
• Basic kitchen skills such as the ability to prepare garnishes
• High levels of organization and ability to work under pressure
